ETB gearing up for Nottingham motorists after unveiling £200,000 centre

Motorists in Nottingham are being promised a ‘revolution in car care’, after a £200,000 garage opened on the outskirts of the city, creating five new jobs.

ETB Autocentres, which runs more than 50 automotive centres in England and Wales, is now branching out to the East Midlands for the first time with a flagship store like no other.

Positions including MOT tester, service technician and tyre fitter have been created along with assistant manager and manager roles – some of which are still available.

The depot, situated three miles east of Arnold off Colwick Loop Road, will offer the full range of automotive services including MOTs, servicing, batteries, wheel balancing, brakes and all other mechanical repairs. Its investment in the latest Hunter wheel alignment equipment also makes it one of the most technologically advanced garages in the area for this nature of work.

All technicians will be fully trained on electric vehicle maintenance, while an extensive range of premium Bridgestone tyres to suit the needs and budgets of all motorists will be provided as standard, including EV products.

ETB’s Retail Director Paul Nunn said: “We are extremely excited to open our first depot in Nottinghamshire and could not be prouder of the site itself.

“It represents a £200,000 investment in total and the facilities are the most advanced of any centre we own. We believe that it represents a revolution in car care and motorists will be amazed when they visit us for any automotive work.

“To see our name up in lights in Nottinghamshire is the culmination of a great deal of hard work, but it is only the beginning, with more announcements planned in the future.”

The state-of-the-art centre is geared up to cater for cars, vans, 4x4s, trailers, hatchbacks and sports utility vehicles, and can service all makes and models including hybrids and electric vehicles.
