First impressions last at ETB Redditch

ETB appreciate that first impressions last, which is why our 25 depot-strong network is embarking on a phase of gradual refurbishments to make each customer experience a little bit more memorable to each motorist who visits.

In recent weeks, our Redditch centre in Beoley Road East has been the subject of a makeover to leave a favourable mark on customers, while a few miles down the road at our Kidderminster site, new internal graphics have been installed to create a more premium look and feel in the waiting area.

These investments arrive on the back of significant rebrands in Cheltenham and Ross-on-Wye, which will be replicated at other stores over time in the future. Meanwhile, a brand new depot was opened in Chippenham earlier in the year.

ETB Redditch’s depot manager Vincent Ashton said: “The new signage has put a spring in everyone’s step. It has given the team an added sense of pride and customers have been commenting about how much more professional the site looks.

“More importantly, it makes us more visible and has coincided with an encouraging upturn in trade, so we are benefiting from the investment, for sure.”

ETB’s marketing manager John Tear said that the network prides itself on its open and honest service and years of experience working in each community.

But he said that it was important to match those levels with a premium appearance whenever motorists visit each forecourt, wherever possible.

John said: “We are always looking to upgrade our network in a number of beneficial ways, whether it be technology, equipment or general working systems. External and internal branding is another example of this. Not only does it create a more professional presence, but it also underlines our commitment and faith in our teams. First impressions do last and we want to bring this statement to life across the ETB network.”

With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic changing the we way operate, our advice to motorists remains to check availability and the most suitable fitting times before coming into one of our stores, in order to minimise waiting times.

However, all staff have been briefed and robust health and safety practices are in place across the network.
